  • Girth work and hanging

    Bib,

I read a while ago that you said no heavy girth worth while trying to gain length. I understand why no girth work when you're doing tunica work, but why not when you're doing lig work? Aside from over working the soft tissue?

The outer tunica receives stress at any angle, any technique. So, you would be deforming both layers of the tunica, if you did heavy girth work.

    Further, girth work causes edema.
