  • Log + Questions regarding attaching hanger

Hey, everyone. I'm about a month in with the hanger, and I had some questions I was hoping to get answered/clarified.

    1. When you attach the hanger, are you pulling/stretching the penis out like you would when you wrap? Once you put it on, do you let go and then use your left hand to squeeze the hanger towards the head?

    2. If the goal is to stretch your skin, what is the process for attaching, exactly? Right now, I wrap somewhere around 1.5 inches from the coronal ridge (I am ~6 inches flaccid stretched). Then, I wrap closer and closer to the base. By the end of my wrap if my goal is to stretch the skin, the wrap is about 0.5 inches away from the base. I then stretch my penis again with one left hand while attaching the hanger at the bottom of where my wrap ends. Is this correct? I am stretching at 6 pounds currently and intend to do so for about a week or two.

    3. Skin "burning" at the base is an indication of skin stretching, correct? What exactly distinguishes this sensation from stretching your ligs?

    4. I am a little confused on when I should stop stretching my skin. What does it mean by "loose"? If I reach down, my whole base feels sensitive, a slight burning sensation, and even if I brushed my pubic hair (trimmed down), things are incredibly sensitive/burn a bit. The burning is bearable. After my session, the base is red and very warm.

    5. When you are not stretching skin and solely aiming to stretch the ligs, the wrap should only move ever-so slightly once a weight and the hanger is attached, right?

    6. Is it ok if the wrap extends over the coronal ridge and over half the head once the hanger and weight is attached? Or should the wrap ALWAYS be at least a quarter inch from the coronal ridge?

    Thanks, mate!

    qwerty12,

    >1. When you attach the hanger, are you pulling/stretching the penis out like you would when you wrap? <

No. You use your left thumb to create the gap between head and hanger, as you go through the tightening process. You push down between head and hanger, as you lift up on the hanger, as you tighten.

    >Once you put it on, do you let go and then use your left hand to squeeze the hanger towards the head?<

    Not sure what you mean.

When you first attach the hanger, before tightening much, if at all, you need to push it all the way to the head, and allow the excess blood to move past the wrap. If it cannot, then either your wrap is too tight, you tightened the hanger too much before pushing forward, or a combination.

If you still cannot get out the excess blood, then squeeze the head and upper shaft, and get out most of the blood, before you push the hanger forward. If that does not work, let me know.

After pushing forward, hold it there a minute, until all the excess blood is removed. Then use your left thumb to reestablish the gap between head and hanger, as you go through the tightening process.

You want to push down/forward with your left thumb, on the shaft, between head and hanger, while you are lifting up on the hanger with your left palm, as you tighten the hanger with your right hand. This will force the shaft low in the shaft well, and keep the excess blood from returning. While waiting between tightening periods, hold forward pressure on the hanger, to keep excess blood from returning. When you finish tightening, the head should be flaccid, and the hanger tight.

From the time you remove the excess blood, until the set is over, you need some forward pressure, to keep the blood from returning.

    >2. If the goal is to stretch your skin, what is the process for attaching, exactly?<

For dedicated skin stretch, you attach a half inch back from where you normally attach, and do not tighten the hanger enough to grasp the internals.

I am stretching at 6 pounds currently and intend to do so for about a week or two.<

You do not need to attach at the base.

Also, you need to do one normal set each session.

    >3. Skin "burning" at the base is an indication of skin stretching, correct?<

    Yes. Deformation.

    >What exactly distinguishes this sensation from stretching your ligs?<

Well, often, not much. It is the same type of deformation, with inflammation, etc. IF you are deforming both, then both will be hot. The skin will be red.

After my session, the base is red and very warm.<

When you hang your normal set each day, reach down and feels the skin at the base. If it is loose, then you have done enough. To be clear, at you current size, you should be starting your wrap about a half inch from the coronal ridge, and attaching the hanger a quarter inch from the leading edge of your wrap, You can surely wrap to the base.

    >5. When you are not stretching skin and solely aiming to stretch the ligs, the wrap should only move ever-so slightly once a weight and the hanger is attached, right?<

Yes. no more than a quarter inch or so.

    >6. Is it ok if the wrap extends over the coronal ridge and over half the head once the hanger and weight is attached? Or should the wrap ALWAYS be at least a quarter inch from the coronal ridge?<

For dedicated skin stretch, it is fine for the wrap to go over the coronal ridge. Possibly the entire head. You do not want the hanger to ride on the head. You want at least that quarter inch gap.

Hi Bigger, thanks for the reply!

So the process is as such:

      1. For a normal session, wrap 0.5 inches from the coronal ridge at going down to the base (if desired). For a dedicated skin stretching session, wrap about an inch to 1.5 inches away from the coronal ridge.

      2. When attaching the hanger, I do not need to stretch the penis out to attach. I can just attach.

      3. Attach about 0.25 inches away from the leading edge of the wrap without stretching the penis when going for a normal session. Does this rule still apply for a dedicated skin stretch?

      4. Once attached, do not tighten just yet. Use the left hand to squeeze the hanger and push it towards the head of the penis while the left thumb is creating a gap between head and the hanger.

      5. The bottom half of the shaft should feel more engorged with blood as you squeeze the hanger and push towards the head, but certainly not as it would when erect.

      6. Tighten as you do step 4. As a clarifying question, are you pushing towards the head and then tightening in increments? For example, let's say you push towards the head just a tiny bit (perhaps 0.1 an inch), and at that point you tighten just a bit. Then you wait a bit for the shaft to meld to the hanger while still squeezing the hanger together, and then push again towards the head all while the thumb is creating a gap. At that point, you tighten a bit again. The hanger itself should never be over the head.

Do I have that interpretation correct?

Also, a couple of other problems and my solutions I am thinking of.

      A. When I stretch out my penis, I wrap 0.5 inches from the coronal ridge. However, when my penis is no longer stretched, the wrap will then cover my head. In other words, after letting go, the penis retracts to its original state and the wrap is in the same position as it was before, and as such, it will cover the head. Is this normal? Perhaps I need to wrap tighter and ensure that my penis is 100% flaccid.

      B. The hanger will sometimes be very close or directly touching the coronal ridge if I attach 0.25 inches away from the leading edge. I assume that I am probably attaching it closer to the leading edge than I think I am. To clarify, the solution to this should be that I am properly attaching it 0.25 inches, perhaps even a little further back (0.3 - 0.5?) AND ensuring that my internals are properly grasped. So my question is this: the pulse push test you do once you have finished testing is to verify that the internals are grasped firmly, right? And if there is no movement from the hanger (that is, it remains in the same place as doesn't slip or anything) after you pulse push, you can assume you have successfully grasped the internals?

      Cheers, mate!

        qwerty12,

        >1. For a normal session, wrap 0.5 inches from the coronal ridge at going down to the base (if desired). For a dedicated skin stretching session, wrap about an inch to 1.5 inches away from the coronal ridge.<

That should be fine. You generally only need to attach the hanger a half inch back toward the base from your normal attachment zone.

        >2. When attaching the hanger, I do not need to stretch the penis out to attach. I can just attach.<

        Yes.

        >3. Attach about 0.25 inches away from the leading edge of the wrap without stretching the penis when going for a normal session. Does this rule still apply for a dedicated skin stretch?<

Again, attach a half inch further back toward the base from your normal attachment spot.

        >4. Once attached, do not tighten just yet. Use the left hand to squeeze the hanger and push it towards the head of the penis while the left thumb is creating a gap between head and the hanger.<

First, you barely tighten at all, when you push the hanger to the head to remove excess blood. Just tighten enough for the hanger to grasp the wrapped bundle, and that is all.

Next, you push down on the shaft, between the head and hanger, with your left thumb, as you lift up on the hanger, as you begin to tighten. Use the downward force from your left thumb to get the gap you want between head and hanger.

Next, after a few turns tightening, you pulse push the hanger towards the head, while still holding the shaft down, between head and hanger. You want to know when the hanger begins to grasp the knot, the lig//tunica fascia.

When you tighten enough that the knot is easily felt, you position it where you want it, by pushing forward on the hanger, and/or pushing back on the hanger with your left thumb.

Then you hold the hanger in that position, using your left thumb, while lifting up on the hanger, as you finish tightening. ALL the rounds of tightening. During all of this, you want to have some forward pressure
on the hanger, to keep blood from returning to the head.

All of that should take no more than a couple minutes.

        >5. The bottom half of the shaft should feel more engorged with blood as you squeeze the hanger and push towards the head, but certainly not as it would when erect.<

        No. No engorgement whatsoever.

        >6. Tighten as you do step 4. As a clarifying question, are you pushing towards the head and then tightening in increments?<

No, you push down between head and hanger as you lift up on the hanger. That produces forward pressure. You keep forward pressure as you go through all the rounds of tightening. However many there are.

Do I have that interpretation correct?<

No. The only times you need to squeeze the hanger together is to put the top bolt and double washer over into the right side washer well. Then you can squeeze the two sides together as you spin the top wing nut down before starting the blood removal and tightening process.

Perhaps I need to wrap tighter and ensure that my penis is 100% flaccid.<

It is normal for the wrap to cover the coronal ridge perhaps, but not the entire head. If it is doing that, the penis retracts that much, then you last passes of wrap are not tight enough, and you bundle is neither solid nor stable.

        >B. The hanger will sometimes be very close or directly touching the coronal ridge if I attach 0.25 inches away from the leading edge. I assume that I am probably attaching it closer to the leading edge than I think I am. To clarify, the solution to this should be that I am properly attaching it 0.25 inches, perhaps even a little further back (0.3 - 0.5?)<

Yes. You always want at least a quarter inch gap between head and hanger, as seen from the side, midline of the shaft.

        >AND ensuring that my internals are properly grasped. So my question is this: the pulse push test you do once you have finished testing is to verify that the internals are grasped firmly, right? <

Yes. The second bit of pulse pushing.

        >And if there is no movement from the hanger (that is, it remains in the same place as doesn't slip or anything) after you pulse push, you can assume you have successfully grasped the internals?<

        Yes.

Wow, that made a helluva difference, Bigger. The hanger has not moved one bit after following your instruction.

I will post back with an update and some more questions later, if that's fine with you. I wanted to ensure I'm understanding everything. Thanks, mate!

it seems I'm still a tad confused on wrapping and it going over the coronal ridge.

When I wrap, the first time is always the most difficult simple because I am not completely flaccid. I can work on this by doing a couple sets of bicep curl before.

However, my main issue is that when I attach and push towards the head to get the blood out of the head, the wrap follows and starts to cover the head. It normally does not cover the entire head, but it covers 75% of it, where I can only see the tip of the head if I were to hang. I am trying to use my left thumb to really make the wrap and gap behind the head and hanger stay as I push towards the head, but the wrap still goes over a bit. For extreme clarity, I can get the blood out of the head, but I want to nail the wrapping portion and ensure that it stays in position when hanging. Is this a sign I need to wrap more tightly? When you are attaching and pushing the hanger towards the head to get the blood out, does the wrap ever move?

I have foreskin, but I tend to just ignore it when I stretch my penis to wrap.

                qwerty,

                >it seems I'm still a tad confused on wrapping and it going over the coronal ridge.<

A bit, but that is ok.

                >When I wrap, the first time is always the most difficult simple because I am not completely flaccid. I can work on this by doing a couple sets of bicep curl before.<

Good. But I want to make sure you understand, you do not have to unwrap between sets.

                >However, my main issue is that when I attach and push towards the head to get the blood out of the head, the wrap follows and starts to cover the head.<

Yes, that is what it is supposed to do.

                >It normally does not cover the entire head, but it covers 75% of it, where I can only see the tip of the head if I were to hang. <

And after you have removed the blood, you re-establish the gap between head and hanger with your left thumb, and raise the hanger up with your left hand, as you begin the tightening process.

                >I am trying to use my left thumb to really make the wrap and gap behind the head and hanger stay as I push towards the head, but the wrap still goes over a bit.<

You do not use your left thumb when removing the excess blood. Only AFTER you have removed the blood, and re-establish the gap between head and hanger.

                >For extreme clarity, I can get the blood out of the head, but I want to nail the wrapping portion and ensure that it stays in position when hanging. Is this a sign I need to wrap more tightly?<

No. You may not be wrapping tight enough, or too tight, but that is not a sign of anything.

                >When you are attaching and pushing the hanger towards the head to get the blood out, does the wrap ever move?<

It moves in relation to the head. It should NOT move in relation to the hanger. The hanger should be tight enough to hold the wrapped bundle firmly enough to push it forward, but not so much as to keep the blood from moving past the wrap.

                >I have foreskin, but I tend to just ignore it when I stretch my penis to wrap. <

                Good.

Perfect! My last three sessions were great after getting more clarity. No blood in head, and the wrap doesn't go over the entire head. It probably covers around 50% or less at this point. I have an idea of how to fine tune it from here on out. Things are going very smoothly now--thanks, Bigger!

Another question: As you move up in weight, does the skin feel tighter, and therefore necessitating skin stretching?

If I stretch the skin properly, then at 6 pounds of weight (current weight), should I be able to pull my skin relatively loosely where the pubic bone is?

Yes. Every 2-4 months or so of stretching the internals, you may need to do a week of dedicated skin stretch.

                    >If I stretch the skin properly, then at 6 pounds of weight (current weight), should I be able to pull my skin relatively loosely where the pubic bone is?<

Yes. I do not know if six lbs will do it, but using enough stress, dedicated skin stretch should stretch extra skin.

In regards to whether or not 6 pounds will stretch skin, how should I continue proceeding each week in terms of weight? These past 4 days, my skin still feels pretty tight; not much has changed since Sunday when I started dedicating my time to skin stretching. That being said, I still feel that skin burning sensation in each session I have for skin stretches (which I assume is a good thing, but it's hard to gauge since my skin is still tight). Would I still be increasing the weight by 15% each week?

Gotcha. My session last night was my last one at 6 pounds. However, I'm unsure if I should move up in weight or keep it at the same weight and sets. I still feel the tightness and burning sensation, and when I reach down and palpate the region at the base, the region beneath the skin is certainly more sensitive. Yet, when I reach down as I am hanging, the skin is still very tight. So my question is, do I continue at 6 pounds, or should I move up to 6.5 pounds and continue to try to stretch the skin? Thanks!

As an update, I'm afraid I might have totally misunderstood, because my morning split session was just totally off. I think it's my wrapping that's the issue. When you wrap, is the wrap supposed to keep your penis in an elongated state?

That is, after letting go of holding the head to stretch while wrapping, the wrapped penis should now be around the same length as when you were stretching it out? Mine normally starts to retract, which sometimes leaves the wrap to start to go over the coronal ridge. In other words, the end result of the wrap is that the wrap itself is already covering the coronal ridge. As a result, when I attach and push the hanger forward to get the blood out of my head, the wrap just goes all over the head.

Sometimes, as I hang at 6 pounds, there is slippage from the wrap. It starts to slide down and off. I lose the gap between the coronal ridge and head once this happens, as you can imagine. I am perhaps tightening too fast. Will slow down on the next split session.

                            So my clarifying questions are:
                            1) When you stretch the penis and wrap 0.5 inches away from the coronal ridge, the 0.5 inches should still be consistent after you finishing wrapping, correct?
                            2) After wrapping, should the penis' length be the same as when you had begun stretching it out to start wrapping? So if stretched, the penis is ~6 inches; after wrapping and letting go, the penis should still be ~6 inches flaccid and wrapped? If the answer is yes, then am I no wrapping tight enough?

If you are reaching fatigue in the skin at six lbs, that is great. Stay there. No reason to push it.

Fairly close. Discounting the actual stretch.

In other words, the end result of the wrap is that the wrap itself is already covering the coronal ridge. As a result, when I attach and push the hanger forward to get the blood out of my head, the wrap just goes all over the head.<

It should not retract a great deal without forward pressure. It should move over the head somewhat when you push forward to remove excess blood.

                              >Sometimes, as I hang at 6 pounds, there is slippage from the wrap. It starts to slide down and off. I lose the gap between the coronal ridge and head once this happens, as you can imagine. I am perhaps tightening too fast. Will slow down on the next split session.<

That is really abnormal. Six lbs should not pull the wrap off. You are not going through enough rounds of tightening.

                              >1) When you stretch the penis and wrap 0.5 inches away from the coronal ridge, the 0.5 inches should still be consistent after you finishing wrapping, correct?<

When you stretch out, yes. When not stretching out, no.

                              >2) After wrapping, should the penis' length be the same as when you had begun stretching it out to start wrapping?<

                              No. It will retract some.

                              >So if stretched, the penis is ~6 inches; after wrapping and letting go, the penis should still be ~6 inches flaccid and wrapped? If the answer is yes, then am I no wrapping tight enough?<

The foreskin in front of the wrap will most likely move over the coronal ridge. Preferably, the wrap will still be behind the coronal ridge, but the leading edge of the wrap may move over just a bit.

If it does not stay at least that far back, you are most like not wrapping tight enough in the later passes of wrap.
